About Tandemn
Tandemn is an open-source, self-hosted planning and execution system for AI inference. Koi plans workload configuration and placement across heterogeneous GPU fleets, and the Tandemn execution engine connects those plans to existing serving and orchestration systems. Our team brings together researchers, systems engineers, and mathematicians working on the practical challenges of running AI workloads across cloud and on-premises infrastructure. You will work directly with the team building this system and own substantial problems from definition through implementation and evaluation. Learn more about Tandemn.
The role
Develop enterprise pipeline for a technical AI infrastructure product. You will engage platform leaders, infrastructure engineers, and AI decision-makers, understand how they operate inference workloads, and qualify where Tandemn fits. This is an experienced individual contributor role with ownership of account research, outbound execution, and the quality of the opportunities passed to the founders and technical team.
Responsibilities
Build and execute account strategies for organizations running substantial AI inference workloads. Research their infrastructure, identify platform and engineering stakeholders, and develop outreach tied to a specific operational need. Lead initial discovery around GPU capacity, model serving, deployment constraints, and evaluation readiness, bringing in the technical team when appropriate. Qualify opportunities through clear problem statements, stakeholder mapping, decision processes, and agreed next steps, and maintain disciplined handoffs in the CRM. Work directly with the founders on account selection, campaign execution, and pipeline reviews, using customer conversations to sharpen how Tandemn is introduced and evaluated.
Qualifications
You bring 4+ years of enterprise business development or technical sales experience in infrastructure software, cloud platforms, developer tools, or a closely related market. You have created qualified opportunities that progressed into technical evaluation and can explain your ownership of the account strategy, discovery, and handoff. Experience engaging engineering leaders and navigating enterprise buying processes is expected, along with strong writing, careful qualification, and disciplined use of Salesforce, HubSpot, or a comparable CRM. You should be comfortable learning how Kubernetes, GPU infrastructure, and inference serving fit into a customer’s environment and explaining a technical product precisely. Experience with ML platform teams, open-source infrastructure, or cloud ecosystems is particularly valuable.
